Workers' Education Program participated in the "We Were There" event

On March 24, in celebration of Women鈥檚 History Month, Workers鈥� Education Program staff and students participated in the multi-media labor history project 鈥淲e Were There!鈥�.
Nadia Cruz, a WEP teaching assistant, portrayed the role of Honduran activist Berta Caceres. WEP students, Francheska Aponte and Magaly Vega Sanchez portrayed American activist Dolores Huerta and Puerto Rican activist Luisa Capetillo. Great job Nadia, Francheska and Magaly! We are very proud of you!
