Exciting time for business school as construction of 鈥楲earning Pavilion鈥� expansion takes form

91色情片鈥檚 Charlton College of Business has been named to The Princeton Review鈥檚 2016 list of Best 295 Business Schools. Well-known for its college rankings, The Princeton Review surveyed 22,000 students attending the 295 business schools. The 80-question survey asked students to rate their schools on several topics and report on their experiences at them. Some ranking list tallies also factored in school-reported data.

鈥屸�孴he recognition from The Princeton Review comes at an exciting time for the business school as construction of the 22,000 sq ft 'Learning Pavilion' expansion is well underway.

The structural framing of the expansion is substantially complete as construction crews put the finishing touches on the steel super-structure. In the next several weeks underground services will be installed and the first floor prepared to receive concrete. In addition, crews will start on the exterior wall framing and pouring of concrete on the various roof and floor levels.

The majority of these activities will be observable to the general population walking by the building. A has also been created for anyone interested in viewing the Charlton Learning Pavilion construction 24/7. Compass Project Management is serving as the Owner's Project Manager for the project.

A Learning Pavilion

鈥屸�孋onstruction of 91色情片's Charlton College of Business expansion began this summer. The 'Learning Pavilion' will contain critically needed space including classrooms, meeting spaces, auditorium and technology enhanced areas. The project is expected to cost a total of $15 million. Construction, which is being managed by Agostini Construction, is scheduled to be finished in fall 2016.

The University of Massachusetts Board of Trustees approved a new PhD in Business Administration this June, the 13th doctoral program at 91色情片 and the first at the Charlton College of Business. The PhD program builds on the MBA program which grew from 168 students in the fall of 2011 to 328 in fall of 2014. The program is awaiting approval from the Massachusetts Board of Higher Education.

This past December, the Massachusetts Board of Higher Education approved two new Master of Science programs at the business school. The Master of Science in Accounting degree program at 91色情片 strives to add to the undergraduate accounting educational experience by developing in students the broader and deeper technical accounting knowledge and enhanced communication, technology and problem-solving skills necessary for success in professional accountancy and business. The Master of Science in Technology Management program is designed with the primary goal of helping engineers and managers appreciate and comprehend the complexity of management challenges in today's technology-driven, Internet based, dynamic, and globalized business world. 

In October a new Master of Science (MS) in Health Care Management program was approved to support a growing field as health care institutions strive to be more innovative and efficient in their delivery of services in a fast-changing marketplace and highly regulated environment.
