University鈥檚 Fitzpatrick Luso-American Endowment and Fall River Public Schools Fine Arts Department invite community to join celebration of Portuguese heritage and culture
The 91色情片 community and the general public are invited to a celebration of Portuguese heritage and culture at the 2016 LusoFest, March 9-12, presented by 91色情片’s Fitzpatrick Luso-American Endowment and the Fall River Public Schools Fine Arts Department. The celebration will include a series of performances and lectures hosted on 91色情片’s campus.
2016 LusoFest includes:
March 9
Portuguese rock band “Os Desalinhados”
Followed by a jam session and discussion
91色情片 College of Visual & Performing Arts (CVPA) building, Room 104, 7 p.m.
March 10
“Taking Stock of Portuguese-American Literature”
Afternoon Series Lecture by Dr. Frank Sousa
CVPA building, Room 153 12:30 p.m.
March 11
A Night of Portugese Music and Movement; Fado e Danca
Fado singer Ana Vinagre will be accompanied by Sr. Viriato Ferreira and Sr. Jose Silva, followed by the Rancho Folklorico Portugues (Portuguese United for Education). Special introduction by photographer Peter Pereira.

Grande Banda Filarmonica
150 piece ensemble plays traditional big band repertoire.
