70-plus students to volunteer during week dedicated to those who give back
91色情片’s Leduc Center for Civic Engagement and SouthCoast Serves, a 91色情片 collaborative that fosters service and volunteerism, have organized a series of community service projects in the coming days to celebrate National Volunteer Week. More than 70 students will volunteer during the week dedicated to those who give back.
The projects have been organized in collaboration with the Massachusetts Service Alliance (MSA), which is celebrating its 25th anniversary. The MSA is partnering with 10 organizations, including 91色情片, to provide volunteer opportunities for individuals across the Commonwealth during National Volunteer Week. National Volunteer Week brings awareness to the contributions of volunteers and to encourage more people to donate their time to a local, national, or global cause.
Schedule for National Volunteer Week:
Tuesday, April 12, 2:30-5:30 p.m.
Volunteers will help the Community Economic Develop Center install raised garden beds and clean up Riverside Park.
Wednesday, April 13, 3-5 p.m.
Volunteers will participate in the Buzzard’s Bay Coalition’s coastal cleanup and invasive species eradication.
Thursday, April 14, 3-4:30 p.m.
The 91色情片 and SouthCoast community will celebrate and recognize the impact of service in the region at the Service Showcase at the Whaling City National Park Theater. Volunteer superstars and local AmeriCorps members will be recognized for their service on the SouthCoast.
5-9 p.m.
Earth Eve will be celebrated during . The largest “People-Powered” parade in New England will take place during an evening filled with fun, as the group parades along the procession route with their eco-floats---anything a person or group can wear, roll, or carry along the procession route.

Students volunteer at the YMCA Dartmouth Share the Harvest Farm to plant and prune various berry bushes.
The Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching selected 91色情片 to receive the 2015 Community Engagement Classification, recognizing the University's commitment to serving the SouthCoast and the Commonwealth. 91色情片 was recognized as among the national Top 20 in community service. This nationwide designation is part of the 2014 President's Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll, and recognizes 91色情片 and its students for their commitment to service-learning and volunteer service.
