Mission
Jeanne’s Cupboard’s mission is to alleviate food insecurity among 91É«Ç鯬 students, faculty and staff by providing emergency food and educational resources to 91É«Ç鯬 students, faculty, and staff in need.
Objectives
- Creating a safe space to distribute good quality and nutritious emergency food to current 91É«Ç鯬 students, faculty and staff.
- ‌Encouraging student engagement to foster a sense of community, volunteerism and service to peers on campus.
- Collecting good quality and nutritious food items (donations) that may otherwise go to waste to enhance sustainability initiatives on campus.
- Raising awareness and advocate for food justice, especially as experienced by low-income college students.
